Privacy Policy

CIT (CammackIT) provides low-voltage and IT services to commercial clients. This policy explains what citpartner.com collects when you visit, what our vendors receive, and how to reach us about it. We do not sell personal data.
01 What we collect when you browse
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It runs on every page and sets cookies that persist between visits. Through it, Google receives your IP address, approximate location, device and browser details, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site that referred you.
Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. That request sends your IP address and browser details to Google each time a page loads, though it sets no cookie.
Our host, 10Web, keeps standard server logs including IP address, timestamp, and the pages requested.
We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels. There is no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tag, and no email marketing tracker on this site.
02 What we collect when you contact us
Our quote, project, and support request forms are hosted by ClickUp and appear on this site in an embedded window. What you type goes directly to ClickUp, where we manage it as part of our project records. That typically includes your name, company, email address, phone number, site address, and a description of the work.
If you email or call us using the details on this site, we keep that correspondence in our project records too.
03 The chat bubble
The chat button on this site hands off to Facebook Messenger. Facebook does not allow a link to pre-fill the Messenger compose box, so when you press send we do two things: we copy your message to your device clipboard so you can paste it, and we open a Messenger conversation with our page. A shortened copy of your message is passed to Facebook as a referral parameter, which reaches our page but is not shown to you.
Once that Messenger window opens, you are on Facebook and their privacy policy governs what happens next, including any cookies they set.
04 The video
The video on our home page is hosted on YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only loads after you click play. Until you click, YouTube receives nothing.
05 The partner portal
If we have issued you a portal account, signing in creates a session cookie so the site can keep you logged in. The portal displays your own project, work order, and service records, which we hold in ClickUp. Portal accounts are created by us; the site has no public sign-up.
06 Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We do rely on vendors to run the business, and they receive only what they need to provide their service:
- Google - website analytics and fonts
- ClickUp - forms, project records, and the data behind the partner portal
- 10Web - website hosting
- Meta (Facebook) - only if you choose to start a Messenger conversation
- NinjaOne - support ticketing for managed services clients
- Intuit (QuickBooks) - invoicing and payment processing for clients
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
07 How long we keep it
Analytics data follows Google's retention settings. Project records, work orders, and service history are business records that we keep for as long as we work together and afterward as needed for warranty, tax, and legal purposes.
08 Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on. The site works without analytics.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Some records we are required to retain, and we will tell you if that applies. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
09 Security
This site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to project records to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
10 Children
This site is for commercial clients and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
11 Changes
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle client data will be communicated directly.
